A duifficult one on the carbon issue. Grid electricity generates around 500g of CO2 for each kWh of energy delivered. So an EV getting 250Wh/mile is producing about 125g of CO2 per mile or 78g/km which is better than a Prius. Also wheras our Berlingo gets about 300-350Wh/mile (110g CO2/km at worst)....

The science revolves around the tendancy of water to absorb carbon dioxide (and other gases) from the air which affect the pH of the water and add ions, also most containers will...

Saga continues... I thought I had solved this. I bit the bullet and sent the heater off to an authorised service agent having checked the pump as best I could ans was rewarded with a nice clean heater and a new burner cartridge fitted (oh and a bill for 180 pounds). I fitted the unit back to the bli...

Just to keep all informed of progress..or lack of it. I pulsed a load of petrol through the pump as Chris described. But the heater still runs for a minute or so and then shuts down. I think it is time to take it off the vehicle for further investigation over xmas...unless anyone has better ideas? N...
