I live in South West London and look forward to a trip to one of the meetings in a month or two, when the weather warms up a bit more (my car is open to the eleme...

Re: Southern : Monthly group meet : 2nd THURSDAY in the Mont
That was me! Thanks for that but I waited from 7pm until gone 7.30pm. As no one had a clue of what I was talking about - I drove another 70 miles back home. Fingers crossed for next meet which should be on Thursday 9th May? Is the the front of the pub the only car park - and what time please?

I hope someone will be able to confirm if there is a Southern Monthly Meeting on Thursday 14th March. I appreciate that this may depend on weather.

Re: Southern: Saturday 19th January 1pm - Port Solent - Info
Sorry for the belated response - but I was unable to make the group meeting. With no weather protection I will await for a couple of months before I venture out. I also appreciate the new thread for this group.

Re: Tacho and Temp Instruments
Thanks Guys The V8 did not surprise me as much as the thought of a Beach Buggy being powered by an electric motor - now there is an idea! My project is a Pembleton Kit Car http://www.pembleton.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (2CV bits on a light frame) being powered by a forklif...

Re: Tacho and Temp Instruments
Thanks for that - I am expecting the VDO tacho and temp instruments - with the appropriate sensors to arrive tomorrow, so hope to start fiting them this weekend. The tacho sensor will work from my gearbox flywheel, which will need two small projecting ferous bumps (bolt head or nut). Just out of int...

At last I have found a company that has sensors that can be used as a sender unit to a tachometer fitted on the dash; http://www.etbinstruments.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; were helpful and gave me the guidance needed. I will let you know how it works and also the temperature g...
