Re: A few more for the little'uns

Thanks guys

The tractor is so much fun! Muddy puddling is great, and the boy insists on cleaning it after each run out.

Next job...Caterham 7 replica :D

A few more for the little'uns

Hi I've not been on here for a while, but I've still been tinkering and made a few more little vehicles for the kids, and some other people's kids too.... All 24v, speed limited, and all FUN! Tractor is a steel chassis with an MDF bonnet/hood. The J40s are fibreglass shells with a Marine Ply semi-mo...

Re: Charge connector in fuel flap

Hi

I made mine using a 16Amp socket - pictures of my conversion are on here somewhere.

I just made a steel bracket for it to clamp to....

Re: I just made an electrically assisted bike conversion....

Very smart - well done. I didn't realise Laser cutting was so reasonable. when my Dad used to get it done for work, I remember it being very expensive. .i.e. he made me cut and file stainless steel by hand cos it was cheaper for him and it built character! I was thinking of using karting sprockets a...

Another one for the littl'un

Didn't make this one (but I did stick some bigger batteries in!) This was my daughter's Christmas Present, her list was as follows: Nayl Varnish (Nail Varnish) Quod Bik (Quad Bike) Joolry (Jewellery) She only turned 4 in August :D :) Anyway, it was an e-bay find, £50, suspension all round with two m...

£1m Supercar

Firstly, and most importantly, I do not read the Daily Mail, but was sent this link.... So, this guy was given a £400,000 grant from the Government to build a one-off car. Hmmm. I might actually agree with the slant the Mail is taking on this, but only because I'm jealous I'm not getting any funding...

Re: expensive

Hey - that second link is the same as my motor - though mine was longer, I think...and there is a link to my car there too, I'm famous!

I ran this motor at 96v, with no problems at all. Its massive, though.

Re: Test drive report on the Citroen C1 ev'ie

I might have another little rant.... I was out and about in Bedfordshire yesterday, and because of a road closure I had to go past the ECCplc factory. So on the way back I popped in to say 'hello'. It was quite interesting, one 2-post lift - loads of nice big 3-phase motors neatly stacked and a pile...

Re: Pushchair Pusher

What spec Pings have you got Chris?

I don't know if 10Ah 24v will be enough, or should I go for 20Ah? I guess the motor is approx 200 - 300Watt.
