I buy my electricity from Scottish Power. Most of their electricity is produced from hydro and wind with the shortfall made up from Scottish nuclear. I therefore know that I am paying for mostly green energy. The actual electricity in my wires may have been produced by a different process and a diff...

Bio diesel

If anyone saw the item on ITV news last night about destroying the rain forests in Indonesia to produce bio diesel, they will realise that bio diesel is not the panacea that many would have us believe.

Electrocute

Cheeky Chris, I could always get 25 mph. I have not measured the acceleration but it is quite brisk. It pulls a maximum of about 300 amps. My controller is limited to 400 amps I believe and I have a 350 amp main fuse which has never blown. I can do 30 mph up hill but at 50 mph everything shakes like...

Battery trailer

It would be far more efficient if you could just unplug your Berlingo batteries when low and plug in your trailer. I don't know how easy this would be to do on a Berlingo, but it would be easy on my truck.
