buying a reva opinions

noticed you can get dc powered revas for less than £3000 .question is is it a worthwhile proposition .

pros and cons. will need a new battery pack how much.also can it be upgraded or is it not worth it.

thinking i could get one to start tinkering with.opinions please.

my first set of trojans 6off scs225 130ah flooded jobs lasted 3000miles.cost £1200 second set of ranger 125ah so called equivalents lasted 1200miles cost £700 now looking at 100ah 72volt lifepo4 last time i checked around 6 months ago cost £3000inc bms. had a quick look and can be had for around $30...

yes thats including bms. and then another say £100 for reprogramming my zivan ng3.its wifes 40th and she wants expensive holiday.so £3000 is a no go.plus it would take 3 years of no extra expense to break even .knowing my luck this wouldnt happen.

yes thanks for your help.looks like im going to have to put lithium on hold.wife is not happy.major grief etc.looks like lead for another year then hopefully !!!!

may try RP30D £710 if it lasts longer than 7 months then im winning.

ok ive posted elsewhere that in my matiz conversion .the trojan batteries only lasted a year. cost £1200.so failed to recoup cost of batteries. now when i looked into building a car it was commonly quoted you would/could get several years out of lead.this is what ive told my wife at the time and she...

just an update ive been quoted around £3000 for 24 off 100ah hipower cells plus bms. dilemma is its alot of money.weight wise its half the weight of lead not the 1/3 thats often banded around.and ive currently 130ah batteries so probably the same range out of the 100ah cells. or do i slog it out wit...

is it worth the hassle ordering batteries from usa

looking at this place anyone had any dealings http://www.lithiumstorage.com or any other recommendations.

im looking for 72volts and 100ah plus bms. what do you think of the prices. i know they do a mini bms for $400 or a hipower for $750usd
