Re: Remote Display Board Version 1
Peter, I am in the process of getting my remote display working. I decided I should probably get it working with the picaxe chips before I re-write the code for a standard pic. I found a picaxe 08m that I had taken out of the watchdog location. I am running version 0.18 of the remote display softwar...

Re: Old BMS Software Thread
Peter, I was looking through some old posts and saw where you were thinking about converting the remote display software to run on a standard pic instead of the picaxe. Did you ever do this? I am finally getting my remote display system going but I have run out of 08x picaxe chips but I have plenty ...

Re: BMS Software
Peter,
I will e-mail you what I have done in regards to porting the master code to a standard pic. I worked on this some time ago and as I mentioned, the software has moved quite a bit sense then. Not sure how helpful it will be.

Re: BMS Software
Peter, No, it wasn't me that e-mailed you with any issues. The master software is running fine for me although I don't have all of the functions turned on. The change on the failsafe load cut off point looks good. I raised mine from the original 2.5 volts but I don't remember exactly what I raised i...

Re: BMS Hardware
Peter, I remember sometime ago you mentioned possibly re-writing the master code to port to a standard PIC chip vs the PicAxe. The only reason I mention this is according to the PicBasic Pro manual is the "Serin2" command can operate up to 38,400 baud. I haven't ever communicated at this s...

Re: BMS Software
Peter, That all makes sense and is good news. It sounds like you have each one of these issue covered once I get the complete code running. I fully intend to let the BMS control the charger. I am just slowly adding the features one by one. I need to get a new charger that has an input that will allo...

Re: BMS Software
Peter, I tested the new "check voltage" portion of the master software and everything seems to be working fine. It looks like the duty cycle for the load resistors has improved. I measured the duty cycle with a scope and it is about 88% on. I also got the individual cell display routine wo...

Re: BMS Software
No... I have been out of town (Family trip to Disney). I am going to start working on it this weekend. I wanted to ask you about displaying individual cell voltages. I haven't turned this section of the code on yet so this may be in error. It looks like when you press button 2, the software goes and...
