Peter,

Overall the Master V3 looks good. The only thing that looks a little close is the mounting hole (top left corner) seems close to the video connector. Has anyone checked for clearance between the fastener head and the connector?

Great job......

Peter, It looks like to me that the Mega8 will do everything the SV2000 will do and more. Did I read that it is cheaper also? The only downside I see to the Mega8 is it might be a little more difficult to program but I would imagine that is directly related to how fancy you want to get with the disp...

I created a multi-slave board with only 12 channels/board. This was chosen as my batteries are in bricks of 12. However, as previously discussed, I am using a considerably larger bypass resistor (3 ohm, 10 watt). I also incorporated a small circuit that senses temperature and turns on a cooling fan ...

Peter, I think the 0-100% SOC display would be better if more than one person is driving vehicle (wife maybe). I had actually been thinking of taking it one step farther to "miles remaining". At the end of the day this is what we really care about. "Do I have enough left to go to........

Peter,

Yes, I was referring to the 3-1/2" display. I have most of the parts already for the remote system. Just let me know when you need the money.

Peter,

I will take two of them. Let me know how much you also want for the display and to ship all of it here to the US and I'll send the money.

Peter, Let me know how much you want for the display and I will send the money. As for the remote display, I think it is all going to come down to a comfort issue. I know for me initially the more info that I have the more comfortable I am going to feel. However, I am sure in time after I am convinc...

Peter/Greg, I could certainly use the display as I don't think the place I purchased one from has ever even sent the replacement unit. However, Greg...I think you have contributed to this project much more than I have. I am still trying to catch up to you guys. So with that said I think Greg is more...

Peter, I had to laugh when you mentioned people in the village looking at you like you were a mad professor. About a year ago I built a very tiny transmitter that just sent a pulse signal. I used a very similar transmitter and receiver like you are using. I built a yagi antenna to provide direction ...
