Re: Need to make an adapter for type 2 to caravan type 16A?

I use an AVC2 module and a J1772 inlet on my converted rx8.

I simply plug the EVSE straight into the car.

Simple, easy to setup and doesnt cost *too* much

Re: BMS software

Sorry if this is going a bit too high level but have you considered just taking the BMS out?

In my experience they are just not needed for LiFePO4. especially small packs.

Sorry if I'm missing something fundamental with the evie.

Re: CV Joint & steering Rack Questions

I have just had my 04 van in for a service and they have flagged up a few issues. They have never worked on an electric Blingo before so had a few questions. -They say the CV joint on N/S drive shaft is worn and needs replacing, they are asking if this is a standard Berlingo CV joint? -The steering...

Re: Aixam battery and charger issues - FIXED

Hi,

Just had a read through your blog.

Interesting project.

Have you considered using lithium cells? They're relatively cheap when you take cycle life and performance into account. Thinking about it, have you considered lithium for your solar installs?

And is it really only 48v?

Re: Lithium Battery Monitor 48 cell

Hi Derek,

I've just re-read this thread, I'm very tempted now!

What was the total cost for your setup? I assume my 75cell setup will just use 2 of the 48 cell boards?

Cheers,

Re: Little Chef to host lunch to discuss EV Charging - 1st N

I don't normally post here but thought this was worth signing up for! How many people are you expecting to be there? I could probably move a few things around in order to make it. Unfortunately, the meeting was last year... not much has changed during the last 12 months though, so you didn't miss m...

Hi Kevin,

I don't normally post here but thought this was worth signing up for!

How many people are you expecting to be there? I could probably move a few things around in order to make it.

On a side note, I'm currently having a nightmare with pod-point too!

Cheers,

Mike
