hmm interesting stuff.
My 156v system would require a couple of small dc pm motors. would you supply 1/2 of the battery pack with each generator or wire the two generstors in series? Need to learn more about generator systems!

Re: range extending generator
Yes they would make a good generator, I have one on the shelf. The problem is the charge control system would be quite complicated to build.???
I would need a way to control the charge current to stop overcharging the batteries.

Re: Battery current Output??
Just found this thread and wondered how your project is proceeding, and what cells you chose? I'm watching Hobby King at the moment waiting for fresh stock of the Turnigy nano cells (which there never seems to be). Phil Hi Phil, The bike project is on hold at the moment. I have a rolling chassis, l...

Re: Electric Hill climbing/motorsport
Yea theres a few events about, but it would be good to run along with the oil burners. I made Santa Pod this year and intend to be there again. Electric Hill climbing/motorsport
I contacted the HSA recently about electric vehicles competing in hill climbs. To my suprise this was their response: "I really don't have much info on what the MSA's view on electric cars in competition is. I suspect it is still too early and off their radar. Reading Autosport they don't seem ...
