Wow, insurance is much cheaper in the UK than here in Ireland.
I just paid £460.04 for insurance. Social domestic and pleasure & commuting.

The Hidden Warning Light
I am fixing a springy Ecometer on the ECU dashboard dislay. I've just noticed one of the bulb slots is empty. When I shine a light in the empty bulb slot this image is illuminated on the display. Any guesses as to what it might have been suppose to mean, had it been implemented? I reckon it might be...

Re: berlingo wont go
I think E numbered faults are for electrical faults. A numbered faults are sensor faults (thermistors etc).
I think E4 =
Permanent fault: Automatic gearbox selector lever short-circuit to positive.
I don't know what E3 is.

Re: battery for Citroen Berlingo Electrique
Sorry to hear about the cell blowing up. What year is your battery pack? (Its printed on the side of the battery box in the engine compartment) What year is the van? What kind of mileage have you done? How often have you been watering the traction battery? Grumpy-b is breaking a van, he may have a s...

Re: Berlingo Suspension
I wonder could it be a batch of springs that were at fault? Legally it may have been safer for them to say "In the exceptional event of a spring breaking". Who knows. My vans vin is in the 653 range, which is applicable to the Berlingo description and not the Berlingo Electric. That might ...

Re: Bent Berlingo
Sounds like you have had some good experiences with EVs so far. I hope the next project works out. The reason we're going on about the battery maintenance is that this is the most common point of failure of these PSA EVs. The batteries are the most valuable part of the vehicle, yet many owners don't...

Re: Bent Berlingo
The maintainence charge is the charge that is done before water is added to the batteries. This is usually done every 6000 miles or every 650AH on the charge counter. You will always use the onboard charger to charge the batteries. To initiate the maintenance charge you will a need watering (fresh D...

Re: Bent Berlingo
Check the motor brushes and the state of the commutator before driving via the inspection hatch on the bottom of the motor. If you have an evlite, check the AH on the ECUs counter. The batteries will need charging, watering and cycling. Check for any fault lights. Look up their codes with evlite. Th...
