Just realised that I hadn't commented on this forum thread when I had intended to.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I actually like the current blue and white logo. It is simple. It does what it says on the tin. And I think it would look good on t-shirts, or badges or whatever.

;-)

Kalkhoff Pedelec Electric Bikes

Evening all, I recently ordered myself one of these: http://www.50cycles.com/tasman_details.shtml What do people think of these bikes? Will I be pleased with it? I am expecting it to arrive sometime in the next couple of weeks when the shop's stock comes in :-) Just wondered if anyone had any advice...

Radio-controlled Model EV flight

Just wondering if there are any forum members who fly radio-controlled battery powered aeroplanes? I used to be a regular visitor to our loal model aeroplane club field to watch the chaps flying all their lovely aeroplanes. I don't fly myself, but some of the electric models out there are rather imp...

For the record, I am using Windows Vista and Internet Explorer, and it is all working fine for me :-)

Another data-point for you.

I think being able to pay monthly for renting the batteries will immediately make the whole thing more affordable for people, because paying up front for enough Lithium batteries to give you a decent range costs silly money. Some people will care enough to raise the money somehow, or be rich enough ...

I would be interested in seeing one, though I do agree that a more central location would be better. I wonder if it would be possible to get one along to the society AGM where there will, hopefully, be quite a lot of members around to see it? The location of the AGM (Coventry area) is pretty central...

Hi qdos, Assuming the launch date is one that Tim and I are available for, I have a decent camera and would be glad to take a few pictures and maybe write a few lines for Plugged in. Mary. ps I added to the thread about Stoneleigh, asking a couple of questions about that event and the AGM. If you kn...

That's great news! And as Tim says, we can get there so we'd be happy to help out. I'll drop Louise an email. I note that this shopping centre is part of the same company as the Bristol one who have charging points is. I shall have to email my local one, the Manchester Arndale, an badger them to ins...

Hi Bob,

glad to hear you will be joining us.

It would be brilliant if you could bring along one of the greenpower cars for us to see too :-)
