Peter, Yes, mine is installed in my vehicle and is working fine (although it is only monitoring two cells). However, my vehicle is an off-road 4x4. Not that it should make a difference. I probably don't have as much electronics in mine as you do. I was careful to run the sense leads away from any ma...

Peter, Glad to hear you got the emi issues under control. I used unshielded twisted pair on mine and never had a problem. I haven't put a scope on the lines but everything worked properly from the start. I am curious....when your first cell starts to bypass, how long does it take before the pack is ...

Yes, I have been working on the multi slave pcb. It is about finished. I have made a few changes though that you may or may not want. I am using a much larger bypass resistor (10 watt 3 ohm). I have had good luck with it on the analog balancer that I built. It only requires about 15 minutes to balan...

Their spec on the input voltage is 12 volts +/- 10% which seems too tight to operate in an automobile. However, I was powering it from a regulated 12 volt supply. No, I don't get the blue screen. That is how I originally knew something was wrong. I put a meter across the two power leads and it shows...

Peter, No, sadly the display doesn't even work. I used the output from my video camera to test the display and I get nothing. I don't know if it is from the same vendor as yours but the display looks very similar. I am in discussions with the vendor right now to see what they can do. http://cgi.ebay...

I just received my new 3.5" display so I am currently working on updating the code to drive this display instead of the 16x2 display. As soon as I am finished with it I will try the "Pulse" version of the software to see how it works. It probably won't be until this weekend though.

Peter, I am working on laying out the multi-slave board. I am referencing your drawing "25DigitalSlave 160509". My question pertains to C1 which is a 100nF Poly capacitor. Is there anything specific about about this capacitor for the circuit to work properly? I haven't used poly capacitors...

I knew as soon as I asked the question about the display codes, I would find the answer. I had forgotten about the SV2000 chip. Once I went to their web site guess what I found....... the codes.

Peter, I also forgot to mention that I just ordered a display similar to yours. Can you point me in a direction that will help me understand the numeric codes that are in the serout lines to the video display? Here is a typical one: serout Video,Baud9600,(27,83,0,8,"Pack> Max Temp") ;Video...
