Re: What should the BVS be for?... in a mass market EV world.
I agree that the aim of the BVS does need to be reviewed and also that members should be more involved in the future of the BVS. Hopefully, with the upcoming AGM and the possibility of a new chair-person , personally I think it will be the make or break for the society. Certainly for me anyway.

Re: berlingo E500 nicads
I have got a local mechanic (Basingstoke) to start some of the conversion of 106, but he is heavily loaded and it is getting severally delayed. So I would certainly be interested in someone that can do the conversion for me. I do have quite a few NiCds available for sale from the 106 (same as Berlin...

Re: Gloucestershire Motor Show, "EVs PLEASE..."
I am certainly interested and will contact Simon.
It will need a full charge at my parents (half way).
Also should be good going down Bird Lip Hill (1:5) and will probably get about 5% back. But will need to find an alternative route coming back.

Re: Rear seats
This seems like an ideal company to contact and see if they will add the Electrique to their range. It will probably need some working with them and letting them see an Electrique. I am sure they would be interested especially if they knew that there might be interest from existing owners. I am cert...

Obsolutely agree. I never go into the red purposely, even when down to 25 mph on steep hill never go more than mid-orange. I really don't think you get much more benefit than max green.

Re: Range falling
Here Grumpy-b we should start a sweep stake on how cells have gone :-) Andy B I would say there is probably more than one gone in the center box and one gone in the rear box. Our thoughts are with you on this as most of us have "been there". >When cells go like this is it likely I'll see a...

Re: Range falling
The rear pack doesn't look good either or is it a typo. The volts and average don't add up, i.e. you have 6.3 cells in the rear pack ;-) On our 106 all the cells in the rear pack were within 0.02v of other. If you can correct the figures and also supply the fully charged figures (after a couple of h...

(Pls contribute to) Practical SAFT batt life data.
The aim of this post is to allow pulling together actual battery failure data to get a better idea of expected life for vehicles with SAFT batteries. To get a good idea of general reliability, it needs as much battery (failure or ok) data as possible. The info at Whats the highest mileage Berlingo/P...
