Re: Brighton to London "Future Car Challenge"
I'm paid up... only 100 cars in total and I didn't want to risk missing the event. I will also use this as the launch date for our free charge point programme (evcollective.com), and hopefully use it to promote a number of other EV related entities including a green energy company and BVS.. I have ...

I don't think it will be a problem, but you are right to check, thank you.
I will consult with committee and get back to you after the weekend.
Cheers!

Re: Electric Hill climbing/motorsport
There is quite a bit of EV motorsport / competitions about. We have our BVS Electrathon in September (see elsewhere on the forum - the Events Section). And then there is the TTXGP series... http://www.ttxgp.com And the Santa Pod event in April/May next year. Keep an eye out on the events listing in ...

That's lovely. Well done!
Now go write an article about it for our magazine, to encourage others...

Re: Brighton to London "Future Car Challenge"
Looks like a great event - shame about the price tag - BVS membership fees simply can't cover the expense of the club entering things like that - they basically just cover the website, magazine, paperwork, promotional literature etc. However, often I have found that with a gentle nudge, organisation...

Re: Charging Points - comments please
I'm still pulling the strands of this project together and hope to publish a website in the near future. I expect to announce the first 5 locations for the high power (16A/63A) points very soon. I will also write up something for the BVS magazine as this becomes 'real'. Excellent, thanks! :) If you...

I went last year and it is an ideal opportunity - but we will need to look reasonably professional.
Depending on other factors I may be able to attend.
So, any volunteers to assist Rob?

Re: ELECTRATHON 2010, The final preparations have started
Big thanks to John Cave and Ed Gordon for all they have done, and continue to do, to make this event a success.
Gutted that I can't be there, though I know that Timpootle is coming along (with the signage). Do be sure to take lots of photos for the BVR, though I think Brian H is coming too.
