Re: Kokam Cell Purchase

You could order 3x 50V,60A packs from headway which will give you 150V @60A. 500A cont. and 750 surge. They are around 4"x6" and 2' tall with the connectors on top out of the way. Will save you lots of assembly etc. The sellers ask $1,300 apiece but state they are packaged in 10's. Maybe s...

Re: Cheshire/Manchester - 16th of the Month - Pub-meet

As I'm new around and very interested. I hope to be there. I'm in the Wigan area.
What time do people normally show up for and will I only know you have arrived by not hearing you come?

Re: Modding a 'leccie scooter to run without a controller

Years ago I toyed with the idea of contactors so I could wire 2V (FLA) cells into 2V(6P), 4V(3P), 6V(2P) and the full 12V like a four speed gearbox.

Obviously, the more cells the more options for voltages but divisibility must be maintained to run all the cells all the time.

Re: Kokam Cell Purchase

I too would like the larger Kokam cells, 200~240AH rating.

Is there any cheap supplier to the EU/UK?
I do know of one supplier who's prices are beyond crazy.
