I have been approached by a film company that is doing a film for National Geographic and they want to film a 1910-1918 car.
Does anyone have one that they would be prepared to talk with the company about filming it ?
More good exposure for the BVS

I can confirm that it does exist. 4 of us had a go when Sylvia and I attended the Low Carbon Vehicle show at Millbrook. Very impressive performance - with 4 of us in and going up the hill circuit it was accelerating convincingly. I hope to do a write up for the mag/BVR soon. Also there seems to be t...

Just to clarify to this forum as well as to those attending the discussions. The reason for secrecy is actually very positive as they want to receive accurate feedback on user expectations of EVs rather than inaccurate information based on the reaction to the manufacturers name, etc. Call me naive, ...

Ok - sounds like you know what you are doing ;-) The working assumption is that the energy meter measures AH in/out and can calibrate itself to a certain extent - so it assumes that the batteries are of good quality. The low battery light is probably a voltage detect. I don't know what exactly happe...

I agree connecting 2 different types of battery directly is probably not a good idea. (I have been thinking about something similar for myself, so that we can easily get to my parents which is just out of range for our 106) I don't like suggesting something that I haven't already tried and this may ...

Its probably more to do with wind direction as more than half the energy used is to wasted in pushing the air out of the way. A 15 mph tail wind is probably similar to the difference between going 40 mph rather than 50 mph. Also if you were going into wind coming then the difference is even more mar...

However, we did know that i...
