Technology Strategy Board - EV research project

There has been a series of studies into how people use EVs and this has been brought together in a report called: The Initial Findings from the Ultra Low Carbon Vehicle Demonstrator Programme.
It is interesting to note that basically people found EVs easy to drive, they adapted from petrol to electric, but overall they found they did not have the performance they expected. The range was not an issue and there was a lot of information on when people charge, how long for and how often.
Makes a good read for informing/boring people down the pub.
