Are Hybrids allowed... + more news soon, honest, from Ed.

Thanks RetepSnikrep, for the timely reminder....
I apologise for forgetting to think of type eligibility when I slung together my first attempt at a draft set of rules.
My unthinking assumption would be to include anything that even vaguely advanced the carbon reduction / EV cause, let alone shining examples such as Insights and Priuses
(what's the plural of Prius? - "Prieux??")
Does everyone agree that we should be as inclusive as possible?
Within a few more days, I hope to have some news about potential venues...
Meantime, would everyone who has a proposed location in mind please consider gathering any information possible, so I can assemble something like a spreadsheet for comparison, and we can all make as fully informed a choice as possible.
Yes, I confess, I'm trying to get others to do as much of the work as I can get away with, but even just a venue name - and, if possible, contact details - will help. In those instances I will get in touch with the venue staff.
As soon as time allows after that I will post a comparison table, and we can all try to choose the location that we hope will draw the most entrants, and at the most reasonable cost.
Regarding costs, does anyone else take the view that cheapest is only best if it is also the most efficient and effective?
In other words, do members value what could perhaps be called "End-of-the-day-grin-factor" highest?
I hope other BVS members are enjoying the prospect of another Electrathon as much as I am.......
All the best, from Ed. in Plymouth
