Another month passes by and another Southern group meet tomorrow
All the details are at the front of this thread on post 1.
Terry has told me the Pub has been re-fitted so expect a slight change to the look when you arrive.

Beaware that next months meeting will almost certainly be at a NEW venue, the current one has been recently re-fitted and while it is nice its become VERY crowded indeed.
So Terry is looking for another quieter venue, Details will be posted here.

The southern BVS meet has changed venue and is now at this pub, which is just round the corner from the Seagull pub we use to go to.
This will be the NEW venue for our next meet on Friday April 9th 2010 until further notice, the front of the thread has also been updated to reflect this new venue.ChrisB wrote:The Southern arm of the BVS will start having monthly meets from Friday 13th Feb 2009

M27 Exit 11 and head south towards Gosport / Fareham as soon as you leave the motor Junction,
Keep left. A27 PORTCHESTER
A27 PORTCHESTER over two sets of lights - over small round about. Approaching next round-about indicate right turn take the 3rd exit. you are passing The SEAGULL. Continue down CORNAWAY Lane. Follow road around bend into White Hart Lane follow to T juntion other end as you take left turn into the WHITE HART PUB
Look for us in the lounge bar, do remember this pub does not serve food

All welcome regardless if you are a southerner or not, so if you happen to be in the area on one of our meets feel free to drop in to the pub and chat about EV's, Batteries, Motors, etc etc most meets should normally have at least one EV there that will be available for demonstrations so why not bring yours as well.
NON BVS members welcome as well although if you attend more than two meets we would like you to join the club and for just £15 it offers great value

Reminder that its this coming Friday for the Southern meet, last time we had another new member who has Berlingo
This time I'm hoping to bring the EVT4000e but it depends on weather etc

Another Month is upon us, unless anythings changed then we will be at the same venue as the last couple, but I am aware that the pub may be looking at closing

Assuming you meet in August, I reckon that the next meet should be 13th August?
It's a bit of a trek, but I must try and get along to meet a few of you.

Your welcome to come along Phil, I'm normally there with the Berlingo, along with a few others and you may even see our Chairman as comes along quite often as well.
The Pub didnt close in the end and just changed owners and now seems to be on the up again
Hope to see you in August, I'll post a reminder here.
