We've been looking for a (quieter) change of venue, and the February meeting will be at the Romper pub, Ringway (near Manchester Airport cargo centre) but this month we will be back in the Slug and Lettuce, Altrincham.

Hopefully being a Sunday should mean it isn't quite so loud, and we can talk about choosing a new permanent venue.

11.32 bus to Havant
12.04 train to Waterloo
13.38 tube to Euston
14.40 train to Wilmslow
16.43 88 bus to Sunbank Lane
arrive 16.57

5 1/2hrs

can only imagine what they would charge for that

4hrs 13mins by road which if the traffic is light recon could be done in under 4hrs easily, 240miles about £30 in regular fuel or £20 on Tescos veggie :lol:
