All the vital final details have been agreed by John Cave with Shakespeare County Raceway
Signed in triplicate and all that
Free entry to the event

£25.00 one-time fee for each competitor racing
(that £25.00- fee is in fact a small contribution to the serious costs involved for the BVS)
(for example; meeting regulations and having Public Liability cover)
Major thanks to Shakespeare County Raceway for their help, advice, and can-do attitude
(without their generosity, there would not be an EVent)

All EVs of ANY description welcome

Those who bring a machine will merit the "Order of Tesla" for aid of the cause
Lots to see and do over two days
September Saturday 25th. and Sunday 26th. 2010
Venue is Shakespeare County Raceway near Stratford on Avon
(Site formerly known as "Long Marston Aerodrome")
More very soon
From your BVS EVents-men
John Cave (the guy who made it happen this year)
and Ed. Gordon (lurking in the background, trying to be helpful)
All the best, and please watch this space

Do you have to be a fully paid up BVS member to take part ?

I was thinking of posting an invite to this on the c5alive forum.

Hi, to Chris B
Yes, thanks for clarifying what I was trying to communicate, spot on
If you want to bring an EV to show and demo, NO, there is no fee
I recall following your Blingo last year after Goodwood
What a great example of a real-world EV, delighted to know you'll be there
Definitely merits an OBE (Order of Battery-vehicle Engineering)
That machine will raise the expectations of anyone who has seen it

Hi, to BOO BOO
Anyone with an EV
Anyone with an interest in EVs
Anyone who is curious about alternative energy
Anyone who is curious about alternative energy transport
Anyone

Please come

And if you can bring an EV
Or persuade others to bring theirs
YIPPEE!
Really looking forward to this EVent, 'cos John Cave, our EVents-man, has got a terrific plan
AND
Has succeeded in turning THE PLAN into reality, step by remarkable step
You'll love it, and we have plans to develop the EVent
Both as it is going on, and for the future
Join in the party
Join THE PARTY
More soonest
Ed

Big thanks to John Cave and Ed Gordon for all they have done, and continue to do, to make this event a success.

Gutted that I can't be there, though I know that Timpootle is coming along (with the signage). Do be sure to take lots of photos for the BVR, though I think Brian H is coming too.

Mary.

Is there any on site camping , or do we need to book a B & B ?

As the proud owner of a new tent from Tesco I fancy giving the camping option a try if possible :D

Sorry, I forgot to mention
Plenty of camping space
Shower block peak times/if required
Toilets 24hrs
Normally a remarkably quiet place at night
Last year I slept like a baby Friday and Saturday nights
Half-wakened for a minute or so as security drove by a few times
One time they were gently herding some kids off the site
Otherwise peaceful
Huge noise-attenuation wall on two sides
Terrific night sky due to no local light pollution
Woke feeling refreshed
Looking very likely there will be more on-site food stalls this year
All the best
Ed

Been talking to everyone involved in preparations for the 2010 BVS Electrathon
Looking like it will be a CRACKER, so, as always, we need site-staff
Whatever you prefer, do come and join in the fun
Working at my present max.......
To get my EV ready
All the best
Ed
