controller voltage?

Postby Tommy » Wed Sep 22, 2010 12:31 pm

can anyone tell me what would be the operationg voltage of a sagem single-IGBT controller?
Also, can anyone tell me what climbing capacity I might expect from a citroen berlingo E500?
Thanks.

Hello Tommy

The first question is a bit technical for me, and the second a bit vague.

Do you have a Berlingo? Their hill climbing is not rapid, but not horrendous. There is a steep hill between me and Wilmslow which I try to attack with as much speed as the roundabout at the bottom will allow (~40mph) and the speed bleeds off as I climb, down to perhaps 27mph. The buses are going at the same speed, so I don't really hold up normal traffic.

The voltage for the Berlingo (I'm guessing this is the 'Sagem IGBT controller you are talking about) is nominally 162v, and comes off charge around 190v. There are better experts than me for exact figures. What did you have in mind?

Where in the world are you? Have you considered joining the ev-network? That's my obligatory joining questions out of the way ;-) Welcome!
