Schiller electric scooter
I've just bought a Schiller AES electric scooter, it was manufactured in 1994 and is 24 volts, 5.5 Kw. I've searched the net but I have been unable to get any info on it, it appears to have a Lynch motor, can anyone on the forum enlighten me?

Re: Schiller electric scooter
Never heard of it but can you post some decent pics especially of the gubbins. It might be fairly simple stuff.

Re: Schiller electric scooter
Hi, It's not a conversion, it has a frame and engine numbers which are the same, I've found some info on the manufacturer, Helmut Schiller a German engineer, there's also mention of him and his electric scooters in connection with the Tour de Sol, where he won his class. He produced scooter drive/suspension units using a modified Lynch motor. He also worked with Cedric Lynch at one time. I cannot find any info on the bikes, I was intending on modifying it, but if it is of some historic value I would rather keep it standard, it's in surprisingly good order for 16 years old.

Ah I see, maybe Cedric Lynch may be able to shed more light on it then ??
He is on the forum, although doesnt post very often, I saw a post of his in the home energy section recently in the buy back thread.
