Hi Peter,
I didn't know milk float's could be cool until I say yours!
What's the acceleration like with the Netgain motor and how many amps does it pull?
Cheers,
Ian

Electric chopper ebike with PUMA motor (1.2kW) and 36V 20Ah LiFePO4 batteries. 23 mph & 20 mile range with no peddling (Sorry, what are peddles for?).

Cheeky Chris, I could always get 25 mph.
I have not measured the acceleration but it is quite brisk. It pulls a maximum of about 300 amps. My controller is limited to 400 amps I believe and I have a 350 amp main fuse which has never blown.
I can do 30 mph up hill but at 50 mph everything shakes like a jumbo jet taking off cos at that speed I could really do with a higher gear. Its like trying to do 50 mph in a mini in 2nd gear; possible but not a good idea.

Sorry Peter , just thought I remember in the early days of our e-mails it wasnt good for much more due to battery issues
Always loved those wheels , must admit I'm not surprised the old girl gets a bit shakey at silly speeds, its a bit sort of brick like in the aero dynamic stakes
