You've been busy!
That's a dramatic failure of the crown-wheel.

Re: Tractor from scrap yard finds.
I have been busy, unfortunately not EV based busy for much of it.
I have only done this much because it is half term and I am able to pop between lesson planning and the workshop as the mood takes me. College takes up 4 days of the week and although there isn't much college work within that time it is also too far to pop back to do something fun.
That crown wheel is more broken then I thought. I figured it would only be a few missing teeth. It has been suggested that as a repair it could be a little beyond zip ties and gaffer tape this time.
I am hoping that the replacement is ok and up to the job given how much water was in it. If not then I need to move onto plan 'B'.
What's plan 'B'?
I might buy a whole back end from a Grey Fergie and use my 12" motor on it. There is one on Ebay at the moment.
