Hi folks,

Well, the Banana is obviously the best car to own ever. It breezed through the MOT - a new experience for me as I don't think I have ever had a car pass first time before!

I paid my £30 and now have another year of free tax, cheap electric motoring ahead of me!

Go go City El Power!

Nikki.

Always good when that happens , mind you I always try and make sure my motors go first time on the MOT anyway, not often I have one fail on me 8)

But then I have a bit of a secret weapon

Is it a pile of crisp new mot certificates and admin rights to the DVLA's database

That's very neat! I like it.

I wonder what the average MOT tester would say when I tell them I don't actually HAVE a bonnet. ;)

Mucho congrats on the MoT pass Nikki :P

Dont know how yours went, but when I had my mini-el tested it was the most hilarious MoT I've ever seen.

The garage staff were so unsure as to what it is that they didn't want to drive it, so I had the pleasure of sitting in my vehicle and testing the controls for them. 8)

My little "el" was the star attraction with quite an audience watching the proceedings/examiners head scratching...it took longer to convince the computer my little beastie existed ,than it did to complete the test.

As always, the "el" brought out the best in everyone with lots of smiles all round & lots of questions like what is it,how much, how fast, how far etc etc - but most importantly a pass certificate :D

I wish all vehicles were such fun to own :o
London to Brighton on a Sinclair C5 - 6/5/07 - what a trip !
Ford Explorer 4.0 v6 petrol for everyday abuse - thank God for LPG
Sinclair C5's (Plus "c5alive.co.uk" ) as a hobby
