City El Specs:

Postby aminorjourney » Fri Dec 21, 2007 3:35 pm

I've duplicated the City El specs below. The length, width, height and weights should be useful when you need to transport an EL!

Length = 2741 mm
Width = 1060mm
Height (hood closed) = 1260mm
Height (hood open) = 2380mm
Wheel base = 1810mm
Track width = 930mm
Turning circle = 8550 mm
Ground Clearance = 120mm

Unloaded weight = 290kgs approx. (with 36V lead acid, but without driver)
Additional load (maximum passenger +baggage) 110kgs
Gross Vehicle Weight = 400Kgs

For those who are interested:

Lead acid batteries for the EL normally weigh between 25 and 30kgs each (x3)

Lithium Ion powered El, 43V (The Flying Banana) weighs in at about 210 Kgs.
