Test Report of Hipower 3.2V 100AH discharge curve

In January, 2010, our company, Shandong Hipower new energy group, sends 48V100AH LifePO4 Battery Pack to Shanghai for battery performance test.
With the test data automatic generated, the original Excel documents is about 
25M, The testing machine logged whole battery pack discharge, charge status, 
also logged the 16 pcs of 3.2V 100A cells status, which in different colors. cells well shown the consistency of whole battery pack.

I take screenshoot of those curves, the NO.1-16 cells discharge curves, the whole battery pack discharging curves, for comparison.

Testing machine logged all 16 pcs of 3.2V100AH cells status,
and marked with different colors curves,
to identify the consistency of whole battery pack.

Testing procedures:
1. charging the whole pack as standard 0.3C(30A) CC/CV.
2. discharge Battery Pack as 1C (100A) continuous current,
logged the NO.1-16 cells status, log the whole battery status.
3. charging the whole pack as 0.5C(50A) with abnormal charging current test,
abnormal charging current could be seem in curves.
4. discharge Battery Pack as 2C (200A) continuous current,
logged the NO.1-16 cells status, log the whole battery status.
5. charging the whole pack as 0.5C(50A) with abnormal charging current test,
abnormal charging current could be seem in curves.
6. discharge Battery Pack as 3C (300A) continuous current,
logged the NO.1-16 cells status, log the whole battery status.

Thanks Kevin. There as a few of us here using your HiPower cells. This information is very useful.

Has the design of your cells changed recently? The cells you tested were made in Jan 2010. My 200Ah cells were made in June 2008. Do you think the test curves are similar, or have you radically changed your design in between times?

We have two types, one named power type, another named capacity type.
power type offer 3C continuous discharge and 5C Max current,
capacity type offer 1C contious discharge and 3C discharge current, this is old type.
I offer you the dimensions and weight as following, you may check it well.

When 3C (300A) continuous discharge, the whole pack curve could be seem as below.

What is the difference in cost between the types?

The high current ones look good but i note they are bigger so that means a redesign/rebuild of the battery enclosure/layout for any already using the older cells like me :(

Hello retepsnikrep,

the price is the same, we would widely push the power type cells,
They add some of materials for large current output so got a bit larger and heavier.

customer need redesign the size is the most resistance of our new products promotion..
