Hi All

Am I right in assuming that it may be appropriate to have a slightly different number of Life po4 cells than leaf cells to achieve an optimum compromise match? The voltages of the two packs will automatically match at all times. The higher total circuit resistance of each pack will determine the current flow on each pack and it may be that a charging current may flow from the higher internal resistance pack after a heavy draw to maintain equality. If one wishes to avoid this a diode could be used but it would need to be a stonking big one.

Part of the fun will be laughing at the Guess of Meter's efforts.

Hi Rory,
Was told last night "The new Leaf expected in two years will have up to a 65KWH battery pack".

That, is tempting for a new buy!
