Not quite up to the minute but thought you might be interested to know that Valencia opened a car park which has 340 spaces where electric cars can be charged up at 1.95 Euro per hour. That's quite possibly more spaces than in the whole of the UK?

£2 an hour to park !

Mind you £2 an hour to fuel up ! :D

Amazing number of charge points. I've a sneaky feeling that this sort of thing is going to come to the UK shortly but who's going to really push the boat out and do it? Who ever does will get a lot of thumbs up I'm sure.

It's actually a very good simple method of controlling what sort of vehicles use a car park and consequently could be used to reduce pollution and or congestion. Clever lateral thinking.... Or was that just incidental?
