Paris to get Electric Cars

According to The Times Wed Jan 02, 2008 the Paris authorities intend to provide electric cars that can be hired by the hour.

Interesting as when I was there earlier this last year all the infrastructure is in aka charge points etc so I recon it will be a go'er

It's funny, I have been considering something similar with my Berlingo for local people (i.e. within 2 mins walk) and free for first 3 months.
The aim was to purely get people in it to 'spread the news'.
Anyway, I have gone away from that idea at the moment and am talking with a van hire company to see if they want to buy one of my Berlingo's in order for them to go green.
