We decided to reverse the original plan, we began not far from the King Alfred centre and went along to the marina and back (rather than the other way round) .
It proved to be the correct decision...traffic congestion near the pier was a nightmare, not helped by road closures due to accidents / roadworks / setting up for the Historic vehicles run

Can EVERYBODY please note ChrisB has a mind like a dam sieve and you HAVE to keep nagging him or he'll just forget stuff and end up doing something else instead, I'm terrible for doing that, I'm actually surprised I ever managed to get to my wedding to be honest, mind you I did have to have TWO bestmen to make sure I did.
