Had mine a little over a year and clocked up 17000 so far. I use it for all my local commuting and the gas guzzler may sit in the garage for weeks at a time.

I would say 90% of my travel is EV travel.

I think you will find that milk floats are the largest production run ev's for usability in their intended environment.

Probably golf carts are the highest, or even the little mobility scooters that seem to have become the bane of pedestrian shopping areas.
But long live the milk float, sadly a dying breed. All milk floats around here are diesel.

Nooooo not the damned milk float  that vehicle IMO is the sole reason EV's get such a hard time in the UK , ask anyone what their view of an EV is and 90% of the time they will say Milk Float  cos folks only ever remember being stuck behind them for miles and miles when your desperate to get to work on time

The more I read the more I wonder about battery life etc.

But are there any out there done more than 50k 80k?

Now I am using mine daily just wondered what the life expectency is.

Cheers

Joe

Have a look at this, 1989 GMC van. O.K. Its not a PSA, and the actual mileage is low, but it has the original Saft nicads, nearly 20 years old now. 8)

I'm on 71K miles. Steve Thayne's is heading for 90, and he's only had one of the battery packs replaced from new.
