Curtis display and regen

Postby mattcarr » Sat Nov 26, 2011 12:23 am

I have discovered on my car that when I ease of the throttle and the car goes in to regen it displays the amps flowing, but it does not realise that this is a negative flow back in to the battery and it continues to still count down the SOC on the gauge.

Is there anyone on the forum that could advise on how I can change this so that the regen current counts the SOC upwards? I am not sure if the same wires are being used for measurig the amps in as well as out. I will have to ivestigate if this is the case or not.

Oh thats interesting, I presume this is on the C1 EVie
Must admit when trying the one I had the regen felt almost non exisitant :? I even e-mailed them about it and apparently it had been "turned down" as people felt it was too aggressive otherwise  turned down ? more like turned off I felt

Yep, this is on the C1 Ev'ie. The regen feels good and you certainly notice the car slowing down, but the current measured still counts down the SOC. I will have to try ad see why this is the case.
