Jozzbikes electric Ducati video

Postby PHEV » Sun Apr 26, 2009 2:17 pm

Hi All, Jozzbikes latest project, the racing Ducati, went for a spin earlier today on the lovely (but busy) Sussex roads. Video can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCRKRFdo4Os There will be more vids later tonight..

Running at 90v with a 1200A controller and LifeBatt LifePo4 cells, she really is a nice ride. So much quieter than it used to be!

Enjoy,

Steve

Fantastic Steve. Bet they would all be gobsmacked to know they were overtaken by an electric bike !!!!

hopefully chat soon. Busy with a petrol head monster at the moment that we're showing at Stoneleigh. If anyone's there though I'm happy to chat about EVs too Got one on the stand ;) not the trike though.

Not too sure We're a bit busy with serious petrol head stuff at the moment (300bhp 667kg) and gyrocopters. Should be back on the trike again shortly though geting very close to doing the mould proper.

Basically, LifeBatt has 3 new products. An 8AH cell weighing 300g with high discharge rates, a 10AH cell at the same weight/size with moderate discharge rates, and a 15AH cell that will fit in the same space in their packs that the 10AH cell used to take (basically, a 50% wh/l improvement!). THese cells are still being tested, I'd expect that Ian Goodman will announce them shortly and release specs.
THe cells I have were a special (beta) run for the TTXGP, so final specs may change (for the better) yet.
