Brooklands Museum are holding a family fun day event on Saturday 13th June.

I'll be there with c5alive and a static display of Sinclair C5's, plus one for guests to try out.

Having spoken with the organiser, the BVS are invited to attend also.

Not sure who the events organiser for the BVS is at present, but I have some more info if someone wants to drop me a line .

As of last weekend, Ed Gordon is our new Events/Competitions Secretary.
[Well done Ed! :D ]

In addition, perhaps you could email Brian Hampton with details of the event, inviting BVS membrs along, so it can be publicised in the magazine?
He needs to receive things by 20th May, and the mag is due out in the first week of June I believe.

Hope the event goes well. Sorry I can't be there.

Mary.

This event at Brooklands went well, the Sinclair C5's and my mini-el were very popular - especially when I went for a drive around the site in my mini-el. People were stopping and taking pictures :)

Shame there was no BVS stand there , bit of a missed opporunity to promote the society. All things electric seem to be "en vogue" at the moment.

There are some piccies on the relevant thread at my own site;

Looks like you had a blast, I did one of the brooklands event ages ago and it was good, interesting to look round the museum as well.

Shame would have loved to have gone but you cant really but a berlingo in the back of a car :lol:

I really need to get a C5 they are so cool and a darn site easier to take to shows :wink:

Glad you had a great time, maybe next year eh :wink:
