Greetings!
I bought a Aixam Chilled Mega Van just last year and the battery is now just about died---they're saying the replacement battery is 2500 plus VAT.
I'm reluctant to get it if it means that the battery would effectively have only a 1 year shelf life.
It was a used vehicle before, so I'm assuming that I just happened to get it at the end of its life. How
long do the batteries last? We go through literally just 2 6.5 mile round trips a day, so total 13 miles a day travel in
Central London--but with the chilled back fridge unit I'm assuming that's also eating a bit of the battery life, as
it's in use about an hour, two hours a day.
Anyone have any other options? Any comments and suggestions would be great appreciated!

Re: Aixam Mega Van Battery Replacement
If your van uses lead acid agm batteries then you could try Blue box batteries.
they sell C&D Technologies deep cycle agm 12v batteries.
The largest is 100ah c/20, 600 cycles at 80% dod is claimed.
I don't know if their size and weight is ok for your vehicle, also I don't know their cost.
