Grumpy,
Thank you for your reply.
There are some advantages adopting Drive system/Live axle/differential for front wheel. But I have not found anything this type in battery vehicle.
I like to know what are the design/functional factors to consider while incorporating this type.
Kindly share any details to do this.
Regards,
Swamy

Conversions using a transverse gearbox.
Evie Citroen C1 Original gearbox, HPEv ac35/50
Miles Chinese Daihatsu clone, original gearbox, AC30
Smart for two Original transmission, AC35
Audi a2 Oiginal Transmission, AC35 and netgain
Honda Civic, original transmission, AC50
Panda original transmission AC35

Its not an issue, if you have a transmission you can adapt a motor to it. The motor is generally shorter than the original motor, so will fit in the space available. mounts need to be made to support the motor end instead of the original engine. There is loads of stuff out there on the Internet. Just search for EV conversions, you will find a lot of information.

Hello Swamy

I have locked your duplicate topic. I think you have not been getting more information here because we don't understand your request. GrumpyB has given you a list of very many front wheel drive vehicles, both original and conversion. Your dismissal of conversions as a source of information is misplaced - very many original vehicles started life as a conversion of one sort or another.

How do you front-wheel-drive a trailer? I don't understand this comment at all. And what do you mean by "no passenger vehicle"? An EV is an EV, no matter what it carries. You can get useful inspiration from everything from submarines to locomotives to satellites if you use your imagination. Fork lift trucks using hydro-static drive? They are front-wheel drive and rear-wheel steer, to confuse matters more.

So yes, explain yourself better and you might just get a useful reply.

Swamy, have a look at this site, http://www.evalbum.com/

With over 4000 vehicles listed you should find one similar to whatever it is you are trying to do. Many of the owners would be happy to discuss their vehicle details if you ask.
