mine only has one button, i think it's the non dead lock type that have one button.

has the PCB (or one of the components) been damaged by someone changing the battery with a crow bar

im assuming the battery is OK :)

From what i have see the 53 reg ones have lecy windows and remote locks mine has anyway. but if you want to check the module is behind the drivers seat in the rear wing.

Yeah it is for the seat belt system that isn't there, there is also a pyrotechnic pretensioner on the other side of each seat belt in the seat boxs.

Hang on RE the testing of the water top up plubing, the service info shows a small hand pump pushed into the overflow / brether pipes if the plubing is ok a very slight pressure can be achieved (too much would blow pipes off)

perhaps a balloon could be used if it deflates your pipes are knackard
