Thank you - and I'm sure SWMBO is relieved I subjected this board to my exploits rather than bore her rigid with it  It was good to go through the process, at the very least it validated my decision to renew with my exisiting insurer. Re seat conversion certs - Once I find out how much its cos...

I think the issue with seats in a Berlingo is that its a safety critical modification, - the standard for seat belt anchor points is so I've found otu an N1 test, where they have to be tested to withstand 3ton opull for 0.2 seconds. Also there is a major difference (apparently) between Vans (commerc...

FootmanJames - No problems finally, and ran through the quote (for a 2001 Berlingo full ncd, rear seats, secure/private parking, no business use) = £353.25. One question the quotes of £100+ mentioned from FJ, as an electric vehicle, they claimed to me they had to quote as an equivalent, which ...

I'll let you know if they reply to my email. We are curently with the NFU, wh...

Hadnt heard about the fact disconnecting the 12v before removing the traction supply caused reverse to die !!!! my take on it was it could damage the DC-DC convertor as it wouldnt have a base line to work to and the voltage could run away ?? If it kills reverse even more reason to remove the Tracti...

Discharge of the 12v aux battery will result in the traction batteries being used to charge the AUX - net result - I have been informed is 0% in the traction after a relatively short period (10+ days?), The evidence I have seen for this it two fold (different Berlingos) B1) Cooling fan contantly on ...
