Re: Help Needed with Mobility Scooter Batteries

It would be interesting to know the discharge current during the hill climb part and for how long this hill is. I know it sounds daft but check tyre presures, blow them up nice and hard, you can lose quite a bit if the tyres are a bit squashy. Next make sure theres no drag on anything and everything...

Re: Support for Evie cars

An excellent start then 8)

My only concern if any, is it doesnt end up going down the same route as the Berlingo were info was scarce and the only one person who seemed to know anything about them seemed very closed about sharing anything

Re: electrical fault after pressing accelerate pedal

Looks like thats one of them sorted then 8)

As I said they all had faults of one kind of another, from memory the battery boxes all had different dates on them so most had been changed at one time or another I think.

Re: Clunk

Thanks for that. I had left my van with a friend whilst I went to Australia. He took it to the Citroen agents due to the water light coming on. (he was not going to use it, but fell in love with it) They gave him a big bill for a full service including the gearbox oil ( 2 litres!! of 'gear oil' ) I...

Re: Batteries for Berlingos, or run with a ION or I-Miev

My Blingo has always done low fifties for mileage. 'I' have never driven in the red unless really needing it. Short times on steep hills etc and I generally keep to 40 mph. It came from Westminster Council and was the van that did all the disabled access and door knob jobbies, so I assume it never ...

Re: Clunk

You've checked the gearbox oil regularly ? they dont hold much and if any leak out it could cause issues. The clunk could be a number of things from sloppy CV joint to something in the suspension worn. Try bunging the hand brake on and then see if you replicate the clunk, then get someone outside an...

Re: electrical fault after pressing accelerate pedal

Well done getting them out in one bit....sort of  Yeah I knew they all had faults of one thing or the other from the time I went down there and checked them all out with a view of purchasing one or more over two years ago now, but for the money he wanted it was too much of a risk to get a pile ...

Re: Support for Evie cars

Well done Grumpy on getting this sorted, are ECC going to make available all the circuit diags, PCB layouts etc for the car, this is normally the stumbling block for all this sort of thing (thinking of the Berlingo here)

Re: EU Proposal - Anyone looked into this?

Forgive me if I'm missing something, but we already run our own MOT systems here already, I suspect this is more aimed at some of the euro folk that dont seem to know what a MOT is let alone tax or insurance. Yes there "is" a possiblity that some or all of it "may" be implimented...

Re: electrical fault after pressing accelerate pedal

So you eventually got those ones out of the Gosport scrappy then in one peice  I can only presume because you were shipping them outside the UK he let them go like that, cos he would only break them if you were uk based and wanted 1k each ....for what ever bits you could take from them ...
