anyone point me to a thread on how to take the segam controller out ? I presume take all dc fuses out , disconnect 12V battery , dead test. remove to plate , disconnect all dc / ac leads etc. disconnect scart like lead . undo large screws around unit the lift off ?? How that , anyone like to add or ...

I guess so, vehicle drives/drove fine, just not charging as described above.
I was under the impression you had to take the whole unit out ?
I've not yet removed it.

Interesting re. NW system . I was considering a small one on my NW roof in addition to my current SE one.
what bearing does the NW face seems a good relative output.

Yes be interesting to figure out how to fix or refurb . as this seems to be a problem most owners will at sometime come across.
