Thats great news, hard work but we all appreciate it, I hope it's a success and the first of many. I also spoke to the owners at Shakespeare County Raceway and they seemed very happy for us to use their facility one weekend for a donation.

My track is in Mansfield but it is only 1/2 a mile long.
I am testing a car at the drag strip in Stratford on Tues. They do good deals for small gatherings. Long Marston airfield if any one fancies looking into it, its also known as Shakespeare County Raceway.

I hear photos are being sought for next years BVS calendar. Trouble is we haven't had the 2009 events yet, in fact are there any BVS track type events this year? Perhaps a go kart track would be suitable. Haynes is only a big kart track really. An old airfield perhaps. We dont need Donington or similar do we?

EV's @ SANTA POD 24th April

Who's gonig then? I booked in and will be taking a Go-Kart that I am working on. Lots of alternative fuel vehicles will be there, sounds like fun, free entry. I was asked to invite other EVers along.
