Thanks Couple more:- 1. The G-wiz has had some crash worthiness added to its design now - how does your vehicle compare in crash tests? I suspect there will be concerns soon of people driving these type of 'cars' and that the government may well step in and do something. The NCAP testing has vastly ...

Cool...

I've just filled in my application form, 13 Amp internal for now, and booking in advance seems the best bet to start with. Seems fair.

I think its a great scheme, so long as people don't abuse it.

Hi Mab Renault Extra Van seems like a good-a-choice as any. Its small, has a large load bay for easy packaging of batteries, and you own it already! Since its a commercial vehicle you will not need to MOT it, but obviously it should be road worthy. With regards to controller and charger, its worth s...

Thanks night train and welcome to the forum, still feel like a new comer myself!

Hit 62 mph tonight :D that is the max at the settings I have now.

Range is over 25 miles

Controller got up to 59 degrees C, so it needs more cooling, not a problem.

Yeah, no problem, I'll do write up, when is the deadline? Hit 57mph tonight in 4th with the new battery - has loads more power. Ran out of road, though, so I guess it'll do 60 - 65 mph in 4th. Its eerily quiet. Max Current is still set to minimum of 275 Amps and will remain so, absolutely no need fo...
