Re: BBC feature on Nissan LEAF factory
In my mind the prius is not a good example to compair I think. It is great that there are millions of hybrid battery packs out there - and Johnson Controls are now making lithium packs for hybrid vehicles as well now. But these are small packs that are truely buried within the car. I mean, to change...

Re: Motor coupling
Yes, it is one of the black case ones. Fortunately I shouldn't need the heater at this time of year.

Re: BBC feature on Nissan LEAF factory
It is interesting to see the battery. It looks like it is a complete all in one part that just bolts to the underside of the car. I wonder how long it will be before an aftermarket replacement is made available to the older leaf cars?

Re: Insurance
Grumpy,
Any main stream insurer should offer the Evie as it is now in the list of models for the Citroen C1. I have just renewed my insurance for the year for just under £200 fully comp. I ended up with Admiral this year, and previously I was with lloyds.

Re: My Citroen C1 Ev'ie blog
Well, since being repaired my car has been slowly clocking up the miles. I got it in the other day to take my son to school - turned on the heater and all seemed well. When we got near to our destination I noticed that the heat had gone - it appears that the heater is no longer working. Another job ...

Re: Motor coupling
It is interesting to see the variations on the cars - perhaps this was part of their continuous improvement on them ?? The heater in my car has decided to stop working now - but it is okay at the moment as the weather has improved now. But I will have to schedule in some time to strip it down once m...

Re: Southern : Monthly group meet : 2nd THURSDAY in the Mont
Hi Chris,
Yes, the front of the pub is the only car park. I usually aim to get there between 7:30 and 8 ish, and Terry and John are always there when I arrive.
Thursday 9th May is the next one.

Just to say to the gentleman that arrived at the pub earlier and got told the Bvs meeting is not held here - the girl behind the bar is new and did not know, so apologies. We are here now.
