There seems to be a bewildering number of new and updated electric bikes out there at present. for instance there is the new X bike from Powabyke which boasts 250W motor and lightweight Li Ion battery. if i acquired a 3 to 4 kilowatt scooter and transfered all the bits across to my Midas (small Mini kit) car, do you think it would be a successful easier option than acquiring everything piecemeal? tesla's battery pack
[looking at that battery pack: is it dc or ac motor youre running?
if the former the connecting wires surely need to be thicker than what i can see especially regarding the length to the engine at the front?

thanks for the reply. now that i know somebody else is up here that is more comforting. at present i am fact gathering so Tesla's fag packet in leeds seems worth a visit for info! strange thing is that the kit mini Domino really appealed to me and i nearly built one. so it will be interesting to see...
