Goodwood, Sun 19 10 08, from Ed. Gordon in Plymouth
Provided I can finish the 36v. conversion on the MkI "Junkyard Dog" EAPC in time, I would love to run that round Goodwood. I will go to Ferndown near Bournemouth on Sat.18th, so I can get to Goodwood well before midday on Sunday. I will email Terry Harding right now. All the best, from Ed.

"Increased Drag Electric Day" from Ed. Gordon in P
Hi, guys, thanks for the input, learned a few things. Can't help noting that if I understand Jeremy correctly, - when I FINALLY get round to bodywork for the Junkyard Dog (or the larger TWEV still on the way...) - my notorious unskills at producing a smooth finish might be a blessing in disguise... ...

Drive Electric Day 08, and "Lost range" - Ed. in P
Many thanks for the advice, hadn't thought of rain raising rolling resistance. It makes good sense. The best range, 26miles, was achieved in August. I wonder if there are other contributing factors as well? I came up with eight ideas, four probables and four possibles. 1] I weigh half a stone more t...

Drive Electric Day08 wet, and weird. From Ed. in Plymouth
Hi, guys, hope all went well for you on Drive Electric Day 2008. Mine was wet, but good, but ended in a bit of a puzzle. Any advice would be appreciated. On Friday 031008, I had sprayed half a can of ignition-sealant over all the electric components. I had then tested the bike by watering it with a ...

Promoting the BVS on a TWEV on Drive Electric Day
Just to clarify what I had hoped to do: To stick an approx. 2" circle copy of the BVS logo with the current website on the front of my Junkyard Dog MkII while I go out to show the flag for an hour on Drive Electric Day, in the hope that onlookers look up the BVS on the internet and maybe join u...

Drive Electric Day, BVS Logo
Would anyone object if I managed to copy the BVS Logo and displayed it on the MkII Junkyard Dog on Saturday, in hope of people looking it up on the internet ?

Drive Electric Day, from Ed. Gordon in Plymouth, Devon
Re "Drive Electric", and why start another site. I wondered at first, then remembered that friends of mine had assumed the Battery Vehicle Society sticker on my car meant battery MODEL cars..... Mary, did you start the site to catch the attention of those who might otherwise have dismissed...

Drive Electric Day, 2008 - from Ed. in Plymouth, Devon.
I will get out there, at that time, show the flag, see if I can get from Woolwell (PL6 7HP) to city centre, (PL1...), round town a little, and back, on one charge. Managed town centre (Sutton Harbour) and back (23.6 miles) on the Mk.I Junkyard Dog back in August. I walked alongside for 1 mile on the...

Green TT, qualification and scrutineering
Hi, Paul. That note from the organisers makes sense. There would be no point in making the effort to add anything less than a real race to the schedule. So, how does an entrant obtain precise design and construction requirements to be sure of passing scrutineering? Has anyone got such information? I...

Electric TT or GP? "Junkyard Dog"-Owner's musings
HEALTH WARNING: Author has difficulty with sensible thinking - the following is intended to stimulate responses - hopefully "more light than heat" 1 "Green TT" or is it a "GREEN MANX GRAND PRIX"? If the latter, then rider licenses might be less problematical 2 Scrutinee...
