Aye, that's great news Jeremy! Any chance of some video's? I think I still have the name and direct number of the guy at swansea who sorted mine out, I was very gratefull and flattered him outrageously to butter him up for next time! I won't post it here, but if anyone needs it PM me and I'll dig it...

Indeed Malc, I agree completly! I don't know where all that came from tbh! Crtisism like this tends to STOP people posting thier idea's...the better aproach Paul, would be to bring an entrybike that toasts mine and show me that way! The physical size of the pack on that daytona is less than th...

As I said, I will be testing to find out, and I did intend to have a larger pack..My point was only that you could MAKE IT ROUND THE CIRCUIT with a bike the size of the aprilia...not that it would win against any competition. At the lower speeds our bikes will be at I think the riders will approach ...

I have more batteries now, with current set up a pack of 4.5kw/h would get you round fairly briskly (110wh/mile, I usually see this figure when i ride the bike reasonably aggressivly and hit over 70mph several times in a journey). Given the worst wh/m i've ever seen on the bike (140), a pack of 5.3k...

Elegnant for sure Kelvin, but heavy and you'd get arrested if you forgot to wind it up
Perhaps a small sail for windpowered pedals? I suppose the RSPCA would frown on a hampster wheel built into the bottom bracket?

I reckon my Aprilia could make it at 50mph average as it stands...i'm hoping for somewhat better than that myself. We'll not impress the ICE folk at those speeds.

Petrol bikes are up to 130mph average now!

Mines been pretty easy to register/insure, though the insurance premium could have been cheaper! (footman James) I wrote to DVLA and enclosed v5, a printout of motor specs, and a letter from a motorcycle mechanic explaining that the vehicle had been converted with no alterations to the suspension an...

That was new price I am told, though I have been unable to verify that! I will post back if it ever arrives.. The car is being produced by the indian firm TATA...that already sells some of the worlds cheapest cars. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7243247.stm) Also, the spec of this model does N...
