Hi Nikki,

That was my hope but unfortunately the new tooling for the 12V, 36V, and 48V 'modules' will not be ready in time, so I will only have single cells :(

Hi Guy's,

Please post up the battery chest sizes and I will work out how much LiFeBATT we can fit in.

We are currently testing new tooling that means the process of installing LiFeBATT into a vehicle becomes a simple DIY job. More info to follow in early Feb 08.

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Chris, Here are my previous comments on this subject. http://batteryvehiclesociety.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=4026#4026 When pricing up the economics of importing don't forget to include import duty and VAT. Hi Ed, I think I can help you with your first question. 1) I was wondering: if I were to buy, say, a Tesla car (I wish  ) or another (soon to be) production EV, how long could I expect the battery to last for? (life expectancy in years/miles - not range) What is the difference in longevity for...

My first Chopper is there too. I love looking through this site every few weeks to see what's new and been updated. It's also a great place for ideas.

For me it all depends on what the vehicle can do for me. If all it does is get me around locally 40 mile range..... maybe £4 to £5K. But, if could do 120 mile range (most of my family and friends live within 60 miles of my home), I would be prepared to pay the £250 per month I currently pay...
