Re: SAFT Cells

I need to know which do you need - "G" or "D" ?
I suggest you rather get maybe 2xG and 2xD so four batteries....?

I answered your emails :) I just don't know when I will be close to you,
as sending them probably is only possible on pallet?

Re: electrical fault after pressing accelerate pedal

Looks like thats one of them sorted then 8) As I said they all had faults of one kind of another, from memory the battery boxes all had different dates on them so most had been changed at one time or another I think. ChrisB I'm pretty sure that most valuable thing (batteries) will be OK in every of...

Re: electrical fault after pressing accelerate pedal

I've managed to run one of these vans. There was accelerator pedal fault (thats why eco went to max red). Easy to fix. This was one with 1200Ah counter and water light on. I've reset water and charged van, carefuly drove 10 miles (with no numberplates  ), got voltage still around 160V under...

Re: electrical fault after pressing accelerate pedal

Somebody told me to use two 12v batteries in serie to have 24v and then connect to motor when van is lifted up to check if it turns. I have info that engine should turn with 30v and 7A. About batteries from berlingos from scrapyard the good news is that battery boxes are from 2002 and 2004 so if the...

Re: Clunk

Also You could lift both front wheels up and check that. I've got sometimes strange noises but they were from driveshaft.

Re: Batteries for Berlingos, or run with a ION or I-Miev

I've got two 03-reg Berlingos (one from UK, one from Ireland) - both had less than 12.000 miles on the clock. Both have range between 50-60 miles, and after Balance Charge I even drove 70miles with one of them :) So I think it all depends on mileage and how batteries were treated. I think age of bat...

Re: Batteries for Berlingos, or run with a ION or I-Miev

not all Berlingo have battery problems :) I got some which are OK, and still are OK ;) imiev/iOn/c-zero is perfect choice (I drive an iOn - so I could recommend), but I'm not sure if you could fit a wheelchair, maybe test first folding backseats and putting it in trunk space ? anyway to compare thes...

Re: Berlingo won't charge - sagem fault?

got it sorted - needed repair to charger inside sagembox. So in case somebody needs to repair controller - I know one person who does it right. Importing needed parts from other countries (Sweden for example) if needed. That person lives in LODZ - Poland. But probably for you - Evan from Scotland is...
